Fatrafloor Thermofix

Thermofix® is special heterogeneous modular vinyl floor covering made since 2003 by the Fatra, a.s. Company. It consists of several layers with inserted glass matting. The transparent wear layer is treated with a mechanical profile. In addition, the surface is coated with a polyurethane layer that increases resistance and facilitates maintenance.

Applications of Thermofix PVC vinyl flooring modules

You can commonly meet Thermofix® on the commercial premises of shopping centres, in entrance halls, corridors and in offices of various institutions, on the premises of hotels and restaurants. Thanks to its resistance Thermofix® can also be used in hall with light production. It has also found its way to residential premises and households.

Series of patterns of Thermofix vinyl floors

In 2009, Fatra, a.s. introduced a new series of Thermofix® vinyl floorings.
• 34 patterns imitating wood are arranged in the ELEGANCE (17 patterns) and RUSTIKAL (17 patterns) series.
• 10 patterns imitating ceramic paving and stone under the STONE heading.

Specifications of Thermofix vinyl modules

Thermofix vinyl floors are supplied in the following module sizes:

900 mm x 150 mm, custom-made 900 mm x 100 mm (wood imitation)
300 mm x 300 mm or custom-made 450 mm x 450 mm (ceramic paving imitation).

Vinyl modules are made in the thicknesses:

2.5 mm with the wear layer of 0.8 mm
2.0 mm with the wear layer of 0.4 mm.

Thermofix® can be applied in rooms with floor heating. The material even reacts to heating up faster than most of the other floor covering types, which is pleasant for the user. The aesthetic aspect is also important. By combining various patterns you can create designs that will pleasantly complement the character and harmony of the entire interior.
